When we work through standing poses, we have an incredible opportunity to work into lengthening the spine and releasing contraction through the vertebrae, as well as lengthening and strengthening the muscles of the legs. Our ability to focus and balance can also be challenged and we have an opportunity to practice synchronizing our breath and movement in perfect harmony. This practice will conclude with some deep seated hip openers and a beautiful relaxation.
