Welcome to the majestic eagle, Garuda. Garuda is a legendary bird or bird-like creature in Hindu culture. He is the vehicle mount for the Hindu god Vishnu, a protector of Dharma and is described as the king of birds. In our yoga practice, Garudâsana is a pose that works primarily into the shoulder joint, so get ready to open and stretch your wings!
