Mindful awareness will be our focus in this Yin inspired class. Long, slow holds and supporting the body with blocks will create a sense of safety and groundedness in order to remind the body that resting is essential to overall wellness and health. The body loves simplicity, but sometimes we forget this when we become focused on advancing our âsana practice with complicated and intricate poses, when really, the hardest task for your body/mind is to be still and just "be".
