This arm balancing pose is dedicated to the Sage Koundinya and tones the belly and spine, strengthens the arms and wrists, and gives your self-confidence a boost.
Take your time with this one, and don't expect to be able to create this shape the first time you try. There is a lot of upper body strength and core work required, so be patient and have fun playing around with floating the back foot off the floor trying to find the sweet place where you are balancing entirely on your hands. I have used blocks under the hands for this tutorial to elevate the body somewhat and facilitate the pose, so you can also try without the blocks over time.
Props Required: 2 blocks
